yeah, there just aren't any words that can fully capture angkor, although your combo of prose and pics comes pretty close--they're both fantastic. thanks for giving all the rest of us such a great quasi travel experience.

Wow! What an incentive building synopsis for me to see to inspire me in a potential future excavating in Cambodia along with Vietnam! Did you ever talk to Dr. Stark or take SE Asian archaeology classes? Or, is anyone from Hawaii there now? LOMAP perhaps? Would be awesome if you got to assist with some fieldwork while there!
